New Dunnair manager knows the game
Anyone with a few years in the HVAC industry will say there is no substitute for experience.
And when that experience is technical, you know you’ll be in expert hands.
In the grand tradition in moving from “hands-on to management” new Queensland state manager for Dunnair Australia, David Kovacs, sees his time a refrigeration technician as very positive for the business.
“Not only will I benefit from my background in the new role, so will my Dunnair customers,” Mr Kovacs said, “nothing can replace a solid understanding of the mechanics when it comes to specific applications and process.”
Mr Kovacs’ first task is to build a potent team for Dunnair’s operation in Queensland to better service existing customers and attract new ones to the Dunnair brand, which is rapidly expanding across Australia.
He will be ably assisted by Actrol, operating as Dunnair’s exclusive agent in Far North Queensland.
“Actrol and Dunnair both have long histories in the Australian HVAC industry,” Mr Kovacs said, “we share a commitment to delivering quality both in engineering and customer service.
I look forward to a great relationship together here in Queensland.”
Actrol is Australia’s largest wholesaler of refrigeration, air conditioning and allied industries, servicing the nation with 62 branches located in key metropolitan and regional areas.
In what has been described as a “compelling strategic fit” the Actrol Group was purchased by Reece Australia Limited in December last year.
